Do I keep my masters and rights?
Yes. You own your recordings and your rights. Selling or distributing through EngineEars doesn’t change that, and you can leave with your catalog any time.
How much does EngineEars cost for artists?
Artist Essentials is free, with a 15% service fee. Artist Platinum is $5 a month, billed annually. It adds distribution to 350+ platforms and integrated fan CRM tools, and you keep 100% of your sales and streaming revenue.
How are engineers vetted?
Engineers apply and are reviewed before they can take bookings, and about 30% of applicants are accepted. Credits are verified through Muso.AI, and every profile shows reviews from past clients.
What if I’m not happy with the mix?
Request revisions inside the project with time-stamped notes. Each engineer shows how many revision rounds are included before you book, and your payment stays in escrow until you approve the final files.
Can I pay over time?
Yes. Studio bookings and engineer services can be paid with Klarna or Affirm at checkout, as well as by card.
How do fans pay for my music?
Fans can pay by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Cash App, Klarna and Affirm. You can download your sales reports any time.
Which streaming platforms does distribution cover?

Can I move my music from DistroKid or another distributor?
Yes. Your releases keep their ISRCs and UPCs, so streams and playlist history carry over, and moving costs nothing extra on one membership.
How do royalty splits work?
Add collaborators to a release and agree the splits. Each person is paid their share automatically. Collaborators don’t need a subscription to withdraw, and EngineEars takes no cut of their split.
When is publishing collection available?
Publishing collection is coming soon. It will search globally for publishing royalties that haven’t been collected or have gone missing, and pay what’s recovered into your EngineEars wallet. Create a free account and we’ll let you know when it opens.
